The purpose made MC Panelboard presented significant time saving for Anthony Thewless the installing engineer. Populated with MCCBs, RCBOs and a range of contactors to control all the heating and lighting requirements the panel also included surge protection for vulnerable circuits.

Under construction is a new outlet in Taunton, Somerset where Paul Agate of AK Electrical has chosen a main incoming switch panel from Proteus Industrial Switchgear of Telford. The PRO800
3 phase panel was specially constructed at the factory to suit the customers exact requirements and delivered to site ready to fit.
Previously, separate boards and lose gear had been fitted which had taken up valuable on-site time and space during installation as well as presenting supply problems for the various items. The purpose made single unit presented significant time saving for Anthony Thewless the installing engineer.

“I found the install really easy to complete, said Anthony. “The panel arrived on time with everything I needed. This is the fifth board I have fitted in different furniture village sites and I’ve never had a problem. Before this I have fitted lots of Proteus consumer units which I found to be great boards to work with. This board also makes follow up visits much easier because there is just one main panel to test and maintain.”
