New Bidirectional D Curve RCBOs
To complement our Compact XL RCBO range we are adding a D curve characteristic RCBO.
Currently available in B and C curves this new D curve allows utilisation in situations where the nature of the load produces larger switching currents. Now available from 6A to 50A with a 1 module width, compact design and they’re bidirectional.
The “D curve” characteristic indicates that these RCBOs are suited for circuits with higher inrush currents, such as those with motors or transformers, where short-term surges are common. D Curve RCBOs are engineered to trip at 10 to 20 times the rated current, making them ideal for industrial applications where temporary spikes need to be tolerated without nuisance tripping
