FSi of Measham in Leicestershire have been delivering a variety of fire stopping and environmental solutions for over 15 years.
Recently they needed to upgrade their main incoming power supply and turned to Proteus Industrial Switchgear of Telford to design a purpose made switchboard. FSi were looking for the new installation to fit the same footprint as the old but to build in extra ways for future expansion and accommodate surge and overload protection.
Proteus engineers visited the site and detailed drawings and a specification for a PRO 800 switch panel was agreed. The 800 amp main switch distributed to 12 outgoing ways with 25% space reserved for FSi’s expansion plans. Installed by electrical contractor, Garry Bennett of Bennett Automation & Control Limited the panel was delivered via City Electrical Factors of Burton on Trent.
