Proteus Consumer Factory Refurb
In April this year, Proteus Consumer embarked on the huge task of refurbishing the entire interior of the factory whilst continuing to operate during this time.
Since the introduction of Amendment 3 of the Wiring Regulations in January, demand for Metal clad Consumer Units has been high as branches take in stock whilst also gaining a number of major specifications across the UK, so much so that the decision was made to utilise all available space to its maximum potential and to increase the storage capacity by 100%.
After three months, during which the yearend stock take was completed, the factory now boasts an additional 170 pallet locations, a two tier racking system for small enclosures and devices as well as a new meeting room catering for up to 24 people with separate food / drinks room.
